The Design Idiot's favourite work
For over 10 years of his career this Design Idiot worked for the Dutch Retail brand HEMA. He worked on making these lovely TV campaigns but also helped designing the instore material down to the price-tags. Every inch of HEMA had the same look-and-feel. He was lucky to work with a lot of like-minded weirdo's on this great marketing project.

A tiny selection of the Design Idiot's designs
After more than 20 years of working for numerous big brands the Design Idiot simply forgot to create a decent archive of all the logo's that he created. No files of the endless corporate identity operations. Hardly any records of the rebranding and the successful visual marketing turnaround of Dutch design icon HEMA for which he received numerous advertising awards. He simply did not have the time to create his own portfolio as he preferred to work on someone else's stunning presentation. How stupid.

This Idiot also designs magazines & brochures
Why? Because he is crazy about old fashioned print. The craft of typography. Mad for design systems and grids that are needed to make a decent lay-out. Making these magazines, newspapers, flyers and brochures helps to keep up with the latest design tools and software. Learning by doing as this moron is not a great reader of any type of print.
